Berkshire Vein Clinic offers specialist treatment and investigation of varicose,
spider and thread veins. Other areas of specialist expertise include related complaints such as leg swelling and ulceration. Axillary and palmar hyperhidrosis are effectively treated by botulinum toxin (Botox) or thoracoscopic sympathectomy. The clinic prides itself on the cosmetic and functional results of all interventions and procedures. Practice is research and evidence based with an emphasis on clinical excellence. Micro-injection
sclerotherapy, botulinum toxin and Veinwave treatments are undertaken at the Berkeley
Avenue Consulting Rooms. Operative procedures are carried out at Dunedin Classic Hospital. NHS procedures are performed out at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading and West Berkshire Community Hospital, Newbury. Where costs are shown, these are for one treatment session. Many people require only one treatment, especially for fine veins in one or two areas. During an initial consultation the extent of the problem and the means to remove it will be fully discussed. The information in this site is general and where appropriate approved by The Vascular Society. Information is for guidance only, your surgeon can advise you on specific information relating to your condition.
